We know people want safe and peaceful home and work environments, that's why we offer our clients, their employees and residents a number they can call and leave information directly for our patrol officers.
They can report noise disturbances, suspicious persons / activity as well as violation of property rules any time day or night. If desired they can remain anonymous.
On Line Server Access
We know information access is critical so our reporting system is updated in real time. You will have the ability to see when our Officers arrive on your property and view the reports as soon as they are submitted. The following morning a detailed report is automatically compiled and emailed to pre-authorized recipients.
Gone are the days of trying to decipher hard to read hand written reports, no more searching though bulky binders - our system stores and keeps all information organized by date, time and even report type.
Once a report is created it becomes a search able database by key word, last name, apartment number or even violation type.
Emergency Services
Ranger has the flexibility to cover a variety of emergency situations including fire watch, unanticipated property damage, work or home place threats - ANY situation needing a protective presence. We offer uniformed or plain clothes Officers, marked or unmarked vehicles and the experience and knowledge to handle any threat to person or property.
Envisioned in 2003, pursuant to the need for a more effective style and execution of existing private security, Ranger Protection Agency was started by Chief David Jarrett and Assistant Chief Brian Kelley. We were established on an unusual concept of "desperation, not inspiration." We would love to say we simply wanted to start a private security company but this wasn't the case. However, what started as a desperate need became our calling.

Ranger has created a results driven proactive approach to private security. Prior to the creation of Ranger most companies took an "observe and report, don't get involved" attitude to providing security. It did not take long before criminals took notice. Ranger is a "resolve and report" company, utilizing our experience and authorization to get involved in situations ranging from curfew violations to drugs & prostitution. By addressing the issues as they happen we are able to solve problems, not just report them.
Utilizing both marked and unmarked patrol vehicles we tailor our services to the client's needs. Unmarked patrol vehicles allow our officers to move through the property with the least amount of notice, marked vehicles let persons on the property know that the site is being monitored. A combination of both allows us to provide a diverse approach to finding and fixing the issues on property.

Although being a visual deterrent and "observe and report" is the industry standard, we train our officers how to identify and approach situations for the most effective outcome. Our officers receive ongoing training including both in the field and in-house instruction to resolve a variety of situations including those that involve (but not limited to) homeless / vagrants / squatters / drugs & prostitution. They are trained when and how to utilize their arrest authority and when and how to work with the local police departments. We put in the time and effort to train our officers above industry standing because their knowledge and success benefits everyone involved, especially themselves.

Ranger Protection Agency created a point of contact lease violation based on section 18, 19 and 20 of the TAA/NAA lease agreement and subsequently any additional rules in place for tenants and their guests.
We figured out long ago that there were few options for holding residents and their guests accountable for breaking the rules.
At that time usually the only thing done was they where told to stop with little to no consequences for their activity.
Our third party point of contact lease violation is just one step in stopping unwanted activity. At the time the lease violation is created the resident is given an copy, we explain the infraction(s) and/or undesirable behavior to the resident and inform them what the rules are and what is expected of them.
This system is flexible and can be tailored to meet the needs of each client.

The Work
The work is physically demanding. You will walk constantly, stand for long periods of time be exposed to extreme weather (heat, cold and rain) and various other weather conditions. You are required to be knowledgeable of the communities we service and be able to provide clients and their clientele with accurate information regarding any events while on duty. You will be expected to keep any and all privileged or confidential information received from clients or our company to yourself and confined to other Ranger employees, and officers. You must keep all required licenses by the Private Security Bureau current and up-to-date as well as meet the requirements for renewal described by the Bureau.

Required Equipment
All Non-Commissioned Officers are required to at a minimum to have a duty belt, at lease Two pair of handcuffs, with holsters handcuff Key and a working flashlight with a type of holder, pouch, or flashlight ring.. All commissioned officers are to have a Duty weapon, Baton (if Certified, O.C Spay (if certified) two pair of handcuffs with pouch, handcuff key, working flashlight with a type of holder, pouch, or flashlight ring.. It is your responsibility to make sure you have the necessary minimum equipment prior to your start date.
