ON-SITE
SECURITY OFFICERS.
When your property needs more than periodic visits, Ranger provides uniformed security officers dedicated to your location for scheduled hours—delivering a consistent presence, direct attention to problems, and clear reporting to management.
A PRESENCE THAT TAKES ACTION.
Hiring an on-site officer should accomplish more than putting a uniform in a chair.
Ranger’s on-site officers are assigned to work the property, remain aware of conditions, make professional contacts when appropriate, and help management address recurring problems. Their responsibilities are built around the property’s operations, rules, security concerns, and authorized service expectations.
That may mean foot patrols through common areas, checking access points, documenting lease or property-rule violations, responding to concerns, or maintaining a visible presence where residents, tenants, employees, and visitors need reassurance.

WHAT OUR OFFICERS CAN DO.
Every assignment begins with understanding the property and the problems management needs help addressing. Duties are established for each account within Ranger’s policies, the service agreement, and applicable law.
Uniformed officer coverage
Maintain a recognizable professional presence at the community, facility, entrance, or areas requiring additional attention.
Property and common-area inspections
Conduct foot patrols and inspect breezeways, stairwells, parking areas, amenities, and other designated areas.
Address unwanted activity
Make professional contacts, communicate rules, and address trespassing or unauthorized activity when appropriate and authorized.
Detailed incident reporting
Record incidents, property conditions, contacts, and authorized lease-rule concerns for management follow-up.
Assist with property concerns
Respond to issues during assigned hours, de-escalate when possible, and contact police or emergency services when necessary.
Management communication
Provide timely information and photographs so managers understand what occurred and what follow-up may be needed.

DEDICATED HOURS. FLEXIBLE OPTIONS.
On-site security is appropriate for communities and businesses that need an officer assigned for a defined period rather than intermittent mobile patrol visits.
Depending on the location and contract, Ranger can discuss recurring schedules, focused coverage during higher-risk periods, temporary security concerns, and combinations of dedicated officers with mobile patrol services.
On-site officer assignments generally have a four-hour minimum. Coverage and staffing are tailored to the property and availability.
- Apartment communities and multifamily housing
- Retail centers, commercial properties, and offices
- Construction sites and other controlled locations
- Property-specific access and rule enforcement support
- Daytime, evening, overnight, or combined service options
YOU SHOULD KNOW WHAT HAPPENED.
Your security program should provide useful information—not just a claim that someone worked a shift.
Electronic reporting
Structured officer reports and incident documentation help management review activity across assigned coverage.
Geofenced accountability
Configured property geofences help verify on-site activity within Ranger’s operational reporting platform.
Time-and-date-stamped images
Photographs can include original time and date details, adding context to documented events and site conditions.
Additional documentation
Body-worn camera technology supports officer accountability, safety, and review of eligible recorded interactions.
IT’S NOT ABOUT FILLING A POST.
Having an officer physically on-site does not automatically mean security concerns are being addressed. Effectiveness depends on what the officer observes, the contacts they make, the issues they can resolve, and what is communicated to property management.
At Ranger, we emphasize professional judgment, appropriate action, and documentation. We work with clients to define expectations and adjust attention to the areas and issues affecting the property.

LET’S BUILD COVERAGE THAT FITS.
Tell us about your property, your schedule, and the issues you’re dealing with. We’ll discuss a practical level of on-site security coverage—and whether dedicated officers, mobile patrol, or a combination makes sense.
